One of the perks to having old school pen pals, aside from keeping snail mail alive and kickin', is the totally valid excuse - not that justification is needed - to indulge my all too neglected creative proclivity amidst the current influx of (far-from-creative) academic essays. In the age of instantaneity, hand-crafted "vintage emails" are all the more treasured and, strangely, novel. We've gotta keep it up.
